Above-Floor Wheel Press
Above-Floor Wheel Press
What is an Above-Floor Wheel Press ?
Pre-compressed rubbers can be mounted to resilient wheels only with specially designed machines used for the assembly and disassembly of rubbers between the wheel center and tyre. KAAF Resilient Wheel Presses enable assembly by applying the necessary pre-compressed force required for the Bo'54 wheel at a precise position, force, and speed.
KAAF Resilient Wheel Presses enable assembly by applying the necessary pre-compressed force required for the Bo'54 wheel at a precise position, force, and speed. The machines can be customized according to customer demands and different types of wheels. Production is carried out with a force application capacity of up to 500 tons. Additionally, the molds and equipment required for mounting the wheels are designed and supplied with the machine.
Key Advantages of Above-Floor Wheel Press:
- Compact, modular, and plug-and-play, allowing easy installation without significant modifications to the existing workshop layout.
- The closed H structure ensures that the pressing force remains inside the press structure, not adding extra load to the ground except for its own weight.
- Precise force application with optional load cell tracking.
- Easy access for maintenance and operation, reducing downtime and facilitating routine checks and repairs.
- The wheel must be removed from the axle for wheel pressing.
